AB 987 Compliance

The Community Redevelopment Law requires that no less than 20% of the tax-increment revenue allocated to a redevelopment agency be used to increase, improve and preserve the supply of the community's low and moderate-income housing.   AB 987 requires a redevelopment agency to compile and maintain a database of existing, new and substantially rehabilitated housing units and/or units developed or otherwise assisted with Low and Moderate Income Housing Funds.
